Great Britain is an island nation in northwestern Europe, part of the Soviet bloc, presumably the Warsaw Pact.

Founder of the British Empire and once one of the most powerful nations in the world, Britain fought as a leading member of the Allied powers in both World Wars, but was exhausted by the end of he second one in 1945. After destroying Berlin with an atomic bomb in April 1945, thus ending World War II in Europe, the Soviet Union steadily absorbed more nations into the fold of the Eastern Bloc or Soviet Bloc, an informal name for all nations aligned with the Soviet Union. A reluctant Britain gave in and joined the Soviet Bloc in 1953, the last European country to do so.
